Ease of registration was nice after a long drive down 301. Directing to site along with help in deciding which site was best for us was excellent. Even when we decided to extend our visit, the staff was most accommodating and nice. Cement patio is nice as that is not always available at KOAs down the coastline. Some would object to train noise, but for us it was not as bad as some diesel rigs at 5 a.m. as has happened in other places. Satellite dish set up was easy due to open skies available. For us from the West coast areas, we are delighted to see the sandy areas along with historical sites. Would definitely stay here again as the sites are nice and wide. There are activities available such as bingo and waffle breakfasts for all to enjoy.

Very easy registration, wi-fi, easy to maneuver in and out of campground. 35 acre lake made for relaxing on park bench while watching various birds including ducks and egrets along the shore, and quietness was also appreciated. Easy to get on and off I-95 to Savannah, and staff gave very good directions on the free map in the office. Some trees were being taken out while we were there, so ease of getting big rigs into sites, etc. should be easier once that project is completed. Clean facilities, and store was stocked with campers in mind.

Reservations were as we had made with site near restrooms/showers ; staff in office very courteous and knowledgeable ; packet included directions to nearby state parks, beaches, etc. Site was dirt/gravel and wide enough to not feel crowded. Good location from where to go to places we wanted to see. There are trees but not too many, and general condition of the park was very well groomed and kept clean. Garbage cans available throughout the Kampground.

Easy access to Kampground, although speed bumps on entry road made for slow driving - knowledgeable staff, easy Registration with reservations, and good set of written directions to points of interest, shopping, etc. Shopping center close by as well as Wal-Mart. Easy to maneuver within the park, site given was large, and level. Showers are separate from restrooms. And 24 hour quietness is a real bonus, staff is available for questions, help, etc. Laundry room has 4 washers & dryers.

Easy registration with Reservations, and were allowed to change sites and picked out an open area space. Easy to maneuver into site, and hookups were convenient as well as the area being a quiet area although may get noisy this weekend. Lots of handouts including information sheet about the area around here including directions to Yorktown, Jamestown, and the other historic sites in the area as well as restaurants, medical help, etc. Never having been in this area before, this information was invaluable. All in all one of the nicer KOAs we have stayed in this past year. Quiet nights which gives us a good night's sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy registration, security gate is nice with key card - although site given was not level - possibly overnight or few nights sites - otherwise a very nice RV park. Staff is most helpful and friendly, good cable, water pressure good, and traffic noise is minimal or non-existent.

Easy registration with no escort to site, however the staff is friendly and will help if you need help, just ask. Excellent service of a dog walker while we took bus tour of NY City which we boarded at the Park. We were put in a shady spot, but if you want a sunny, satellite friendly site: best ask when making reservations. We enjoyed ourselves in this friendly, quiet (no railroads or airports or busy highway noise to interrupt sleep), easy to pull in or pull out of sites park. Plenty of trails or inner roads to walk. Large dog park surrounded by an open field. Clean showers are separate from restrooms which is nice. Also each site has a separate garbage can, so no trekking across the campground for a dumpster. And I do not give 10s to any park.

Easy registration with reservations. Nice layout for a campground, staff most helpful, and our site was easy to maneuver into, hookups easily accessible, great walking areas, quiet without golf carts going up and down all day. Central area for Lancaster County, Harrisburg, and Hershey Chocolate tours. Quaint little town of Elizabeth was visited and enjoyed. We would definitely return to this campground if in the East Coast area again.

Appreciated being in a country setting where the quietness allowed us to rest and relax, and staff was helpful in answering questions about tourist areas. Registration was easy, the staff friendly, facilities were clean, and we would definitely return if in the area again.

Nice campground in southern Maine with friendly staff, efficient and knowlegable registration staff, shaded sites, free newspaper, plenty of activities for children. Plus the Merry Moose, from where pizzas, breakfast waffles, pancakes, and desserts can be ordered and either eaten at the canopied area or delivered to your site. Location of campground is convenient to all the places one would like to see in and about the area. Quiet in the back area, front area gets traffic noise, but nights are quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here if in the area again.

Toss up between an 8 or 9 - it is grassy area sites, nice areas to walk down to the river, fishing appears to be good (if number of people out fly fishing is indicative of fish), workers are helpful, quiet and safe atmosphere, pool is nice for families, it is just us two seniors and we love it here amongst friendly neighbors. First time in New Hampshire so spending more time touring than actually in park.

Nice clean little campground. Easy access to and from the highway, yet far enough away to be quiet. Watch out for that large "speed bump" at the entry way which is otherwise long and smooth. Cable TV needs some work to improve picture quality. Wi-Fi is 'Hotspots' and we enjoyed a good connection. Didn't check out the pool or playground...next time!

Great place. Very cheerful and helpful office staff, plus assistance to site, all make for a most welcome feeling upon registering. Interior roads are smooth, sites are long, and see several big rigs sited here. Honey wagon available upon request, so no sewer hookup is not a negative to staying several days in campground. Gate closure is 11 pm to 7 am although there is parking area for toad or tow vehicle outside gates which is still inside park perimeter. We liked the quiet time 11 pm until 8 am rule, made for no loud noises either caused by kiddos or loud vehicle noise waking us up at 6 am or before. Atmosphere in campground made for a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Nice pool, water play area, and playground areas, plus very nice picnic tables, all make for a great campground.

Front office staff is not as informative as I would like to see when coming in with reservations. I asked about Wi-Fi and was told simply that only 15 minutes each hour was available. After siting and logging onto Wi-Fi, we discovered that we could pay a weekly fee for additional time. Which meant another trip to the front office. We were sited at the rear due to the 7-lb dog (non-negotiable). To review a campground for their grounds is not fair with as much rain as there has been in the area, suffice to say that the sites are grass/gravel. Need a mat outside door to defray mud from coming into units. We prefer to be near the front of parks for laundry, etc.

Very nice park - Great place, staff, cafe had excellent food and service, WiFi excellent in the Cafe computer desk area, albeit we experienced spotty reception at our site. Would stay longer next time we have an opportunity to travel through this area.

Pulled in after negotiating instructions to get here - will be more careful next time as to how far off the Interstate we get. Although I will have to add that the staff called our cell phone when we were about an hour away to ask if we were able to follow the instructions or if we needed help. That was great for a couple from the West Coast. Not sure how long we will be here due to some mechanical problems. Staff was most pleasant and did escort us to our site as well as helped us get set up.

We came in the middle of June and the park wasn't really geared up for weekends and vacations until a week later. Brand new picnic tables, more wifi tower locations, great staff, and a great park, coupled with a key entry rv sites area. Sparkling clean restrooms, showers, and general facilities. The down side is the card key has a deposit charge and the WiFi charge is a little high, however, connection was good. This was one of the only non-membership rv parks we have used on this trip across the U.S., so may be a little biased on the additional charges. Overall we would definitely return to this rv park the next time we come this way.

Initially stayed here due to having family nearby; however we would recommend this campground for those who wish to get out in the country for peace and quiet. Staff was courteous and helpful while we were there. Yes, there are friendly long-term campers, both friendly and helpful - we returned to camp one night to see our awning taken down as the neighbors were concerned about the wind blowing too hard while we were gone. Interior roads are a bit rough in back of the pool area. Mini-golf, large areas to play games, nice pool, playground make for a great family campground. Not sure I would take a motorhome into this campground.

Very nice KOA park - well-kept sites, several cabins, easy in and out of park and sites, clean, helpful staff, nice gift shop. Only stayed two days, wish we could have stayed longer here. Will recommend this park and if opportunity arises, will stay again.

Overnight stay, some road noise, but not enough to bother us. People were friendly and breakfast of pancakes & bacon was delicious before heading out for the next stop.

Friendly staff and most helpful. We went to assigned site, but due to recent rains it was muddy, found a site we liked and were told we could move into that one. Grass and gravel sites were fairly level, but since this was an overnighter, we just pulled in, and hooked up. Friendly neighbors and good asphalt inner roads.

Nice WIDE sites, pleanty of room for slides .. Friendly staff in Registration/Camp Store. Park has no sewer hookups, but landscaping, asphalt sites, asphalt roads, and the ease of getting in and out makes one glad to be here. We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm, and so the grassy area around our site was wet. Mature trees, and lots of places for walks. We are in the non-premium sites section which are very nice. We have 30 amp plus water and water pressure is good.

Not sure what the actual rate was - with KOA discount. We stayed a week, we were put back in the back row under a row of trees which when it rained was muddy. Obviously one has to asked specifically for a site near the lake and not off the round-about under the trees if one has satellite or datastorm. If we stay again, will definitely ask not to be put there again! I think they put us where those staying a week or more are sited. Not good! Other than that - the staff was nice.

Full hookup/pull-through site is $46 plus $1.50 for a daily rate. We have a KOA Value Kard membership, so with discount plus tax = 45.42. We have a lovely pull-through site near the showers, pavilion, and office which we asked for when making the reservations. Looking back though it would have been nice to have had a little privacy with a back-in site. If we come back, we will know what the park layout is and can ask for that. The staff did an excellent job in giving us a site per our requests. Pancake breakfast is nice; you can add sausages, and coffee to rate for pancakes and have a nice breakfast. Despite the rain, the grounds are nice today. Some sites are wider than others, and ours was a nice size for the two of us. We are staying 5 nights.

We had a deluxe full hookup - came with a wooden-lawn swing as well as the fire pit and lovely nice metal(mesh) picnic table. Lovely, staff is helpful, and the dog park is great. Laundry facilities were clean and real nice. Shuttle into town for the bus tour with guide was good and gave us a chance to sit back and let them do the driving. We stayed 3 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer. I would give it a 9.5 as I don't give out 10s.

Rate was Club rate. Overal a Nice Campground - nice to walk around park, lots of gravel for rain water run-off even with all the thunderstorms. Very friendly, helpful owner/manager. We liked the wider spacing between the sites than we had had at other campgrounds previous to coming in here. Close to the Mammoth Cave NPS where we were going. Will definitely return should we come to the area again.

Spent three nights ($101 KOA membership), and loved every hour we were there. The weather was rainy, but with the frogs and hoot owls at night and the birds and ducks daytime it was very relaxing. The children in the park were courteous and friendly. Definitely will return.

Enjoyable stay - rate included tax and was for a weekly rate of $203 - enjoyable place out in the country. We enjoyed watching the helicopters flying in and out of the airport across the way. The park owners were very friendly and the park was quiet. A very nice enclosed dog run which our dog enjoyed very much. The dog had not seen jack rabbits before so all 8 lbs of her wasn't sure about them, so enjoyed the fence between her and them in the dog run. Very easy park to negotiate both in entering and also in siting.

Great place - hard to believe we are in a city with the oak trees all around and the wide, wide sites in comparison to where we have sited before. And the staff is very friendly and patiently works with rv'ers in answering questions. This park is large enough to get a long walk in and not even leave the park. The laundry is only open during office hours which is both good and bad. The laundry and all facilities are very clean, and the Christmas decorations are cheerful for those away from home for Christmas.

A very enjoyable 12-day stay, and they were very friendly and helpful to us as we had not been in this area previously and so needed some help in finding services such as dry cleaners, etc. The good part was that we were able to receive pkgs and mail thru the office. Will stay again when we are in the area. The access road to the sites plus the sites were very easy to negotiate with towing a travel trailer. Comparing here from previous places we have stayed this park was quiet and location of park was good.

Fairly easy negotiating this park both in entry and in siting. Not all the sewer hookups are at the same height, so have to be mindful of this when siting. Electricity, water, etc. were working just fine. Because of construction on I-20 the exit to this park is not well-defined by the detour signs, and the road into the park is a one-way street. Might be a good idea to call park first to find the correct exit number to this park. The park is quiet and there is no RR noise at all. A good place to spend a few days.

This place was nicer than we had heard from other campers. The freeway noise wasn't all that bad. Clean, and easy to negotiate the roads around the park. There was a friendly staff. We spent a lot of time touring Albuquerqueand did not spend that much time in the park itself.

We had to pull out early due to an impending snow storm, else we would have stayed a week. We liked the atmosphere (even in November), and would definitely stay here again. We had relatives in the area and also had reservations for the Shasta Sunset Dinner Train. Great small town atmosphere and close to lots to do in the area.

Formerly a drive-in (movies), and sitting in our car watching RV was great .. made for a memory. Sutherlin is so small it only has one grocery store (had to ask for directions), has minimum business district, however, Roseburg isn't that far away for a great selection of stores.

I give this an 8 due to the fact that the WiFi wasn't working when we stayed there until the last day. We stayed 2 nights, and by the second day there was a number of people in the office complaining. That afternoon it was restored. In the meantime we used another available WiFi which was available. Overall it was a good place to stay a coupla days in order to wash clothes, and rest. It was extremely quiet, no road noise or any other disturbing noises.

Many upgrades in the past few months including 5 mph speed signs for safety, road striping, concrete strips repaired/replaced, good security lighting, and clubhouse open until 8 pm daily. The family aspect of this park makes for a "neighborhood" atmosphere whereby people look out for one another. Staff are friendly and helpful, including assisting guests with minor problems. Less than 2 miles from a shopping mall including grocery store, Wal-Mart, restaurants, fast foods, etc. RV sales/service center just up the street. A clean and safe rv park. (877) 894-1357

We actually stayed a week, therefore received the weekly reate of $165 plus tax. We were visiting relation in Butte and found this place more to our liking. We were afforded all the friendliness and courteousness we expected from reading previous posts. The park was well maintained and clean.

Fantastic weekend. We are in an rv park now, but last weekend was great to get out in the forest and away from the freeways, wow! The camp hosts were great, friendly, helpful, and courteous. What struck me was the size of the sites and the large spacing between sights. We could sit at our site and talk without overhearing the neighbors conversations. We were with a group and there was plenty of space for the more than dozen of us to bring out portable tables and have a potluck supper. Take your mosquito repellent and/or candles to ward off the flying critters. But that is the price of being next to a fantastic river. AND a great playground for the kiddos.

Park has been upgraded and now has asphalt perimeter roads which helps keep the dirt down. Also has been given the distinction of being a FWS Wildlife Backyard Sanctuary. For birdwatchers it is great! There are many, many different birds attracted by the feeders and ponds. In the laundry is a unisex shower room and a unisex bathroom, so one can shower while their laundry is running. Because there is only one shower in each of the main restrooms, it is nice to have an option of using this other shower. Also tents are allowed within the RV parking area when there is an RV to be parked also. The store has VHS tapes and DVDs for rent. Just let the staff know how they can help you and you will be greeted with a smile.

We stayed two nights for $46.16 (with tax), so not sure how much per night. This is the second year we have stayed here in April with a group, and the group will continue coming here as we always have a great time. This year also in the park were the group who does cast iron cooking where we could wander through and see how to cook in cast iron pots/pans. The club house is the draw for the group we come with along with the great husband/wife owners who are so very friendly. Also you never have to worry about whether your site, the clubhouse, or the restrooms are clean, as they are spotless.

I am giving this park an eight due to change in management . It would get a nine if it wasn't for the traffic noise. We stayed 3+ months due to an off-site job, therefore we were able to "get used" to the vehicle noise both in front from freeway and in rear from housing development. Although a major shopping area less than 2 miles away, there is also the freeway and housing development within that same mileage. The park staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is one of "neighbors" and in the clubhouse are Wednesday evening suppers and Saturday morning breakfasts for a nominal fee which gives everyone a chance to meet everyone in the park. There is plenty of hot water for showers, and the indoor pool is both adult and kid friendly. The hot tub is great for those sore muscles. Just up the street within an easy walk is an RV dealer with a parts/rv supplies store, and they came into the park one afternoon to do the dometic recalls for those who had previously signed up for the recall work. The RV storage area plus the storage facility with large and small units are bonuses. For those of us who call the TriCities home, this gives us a home base plus a storage unit.

When visiting Hood River, Oregon, we always stay here using the toll bridge over the Columbia to take our tow vehicle and tt over, then go back to town for sight seeing. This is a nice park in which to stay as it allows plenty of places to walk near the Columbia River and also has a mini-mart just down the street.

The spot we were given on the 3rd tier down was almost impossible to get into or out of due to the narrow roads within the park. The park is on a hill and has tiers of parking, so if one can hike up and down hills, there is no problem walking the dog; and yes, there are way too many permanents there, but that is probably due to the fact that it is an adult only park. On our last day there, I finally found the women's restroom (in the laundry room), but there are no signs on the road indicating where things are. There needs to be research on where shopping can be done before planning to stay here. We used the weekly rate which is nice ($165) in Sept. 2005.
